Dr. Glafira Kolbasova

Glafira Kolbasova, Ph. D.

Glafira Kolbasova was born in Moscow in 1988. In the 2011 she graduated her thesis “Chaetal inversion in the order Sabellida” in the Department of Invertebrate Zoology of the Moscow State University (Biological Faculty). In 2014 she graduated her PhD thesis “Chaetal development, formation and replacement in Annelida” in the lab in the lab of Prof. A.B. Tzetlin. Research scientist of the White Sea Biological Station since the 2017.

Research interests

Morphology and systematics of Myzostomida, Sabellidae, Serpulidae (in cooperation with Prof A.B. Tzetlin)
Biodiversity of Arctic and Boreal seas (in cooperation with Dr. T.V. Neretina)

Types of chaetal formation and reparation of cuticular structures in Trochozoa (in cooperation with Prof A.B. Tzetlin and Dr. E.V. Vortsepneva)
